Interview with Rocky on Penguin
Awareness Day!
Interviewer: Hello
Rocky, How are you today?
Rocky: Hi Tara! I am super! It is such a wonderful
day – lovely and crisp and cold with some cheeky sunshine!
Interviewer: Did
you know it is Penguin Awareness day today?
Rocky: Yes! I think every day should be Penguin
Awareness day! We are such awesome and amazing animals!
Interviewer: Can
you tell us a bit about yourself?
Rocky: Yes, I love talking about myself! I am a Rockhopper Penguin from Antipodes Islands in the southern Indian Ocean.
I am 6.5 years old and love to socialise. I love to go to the Spa to relax and
have been in the local Penguin magazines. You may have heard of
my cousin Ricky, he was an extra in the film 'Happy Feet'.
Interviewer: What is your favorite colour? Drink? Food?
Rocky: My all-time favorite colour is Turquoise blue, it is such a lovely shade, and it always makes me want to go for a swim. I love to drink Pina Colada cocktails by the pool and I adore eating Shrimp cocktails! I could eat these all day but one has to watch ones waistline.
Interviewer: Do
you have any tips for staying healthy for your fellow penguins?
Rocky: I pride myself in looking after myself, I
condition and brush my eyebrows every morning and sometimes wear a hairnet at
night. To keep fit one should swim every day and it is important to dry off in
the sunshine so you don’t catch a cold.
