Gnome Workshop!

Sunday Afternoon was the perfect time to start the Gnome Workshop, using Anna Hrachovec's lovely mini gnome pattern.
Starting with the Gnome's bottom using 4 double pointed needles (2.25mm) the workshop was soon underway.

Reg the Gnome making assistant was happy to make the finishing touches with the beard.

and used the magic sticks to bring another Gnome to life!

In no time at all the 2 new Gnomes were ready and up to mischief! Here is one counting down from 10 as another runs off to hide. All Gnomes enjoy a game of hide and seek.

Can you spot the hiding gnome?

The Gnomes attempt a tricky balancing act!

Now there just showing off

3 happy Gnomes ready to cause havoc!
Oh look! he's found a friendly mushroom!
Overall, a very productive Sunday afternoon :D

Snufflelump has a new Adventure!

There's just no stopping this little Snufflelump! When he heard about a trip to the Cotswolds in England he just had to go too. He's a very light packer and so was ready to embark in super fast time, so Friday morning he was waiting by the door for us slow humans to finish breakfast and start the adventure.

Follow his discoveries in the pictures below:

Here he is at Bourton on the Water, called 'Little Venice'. It was a delightfully pretty village and Snufflelump particularly enjoyed crossing the little bridges and looking at the strange ducks.
After climbing the green spiral mountain, the Snufflelump could truly appreciate the wonderful views from Sudeley Castle!
Snufflelump learns about the bees and bugs found in the countryside and how we can make them homes to live in. He was really temped to try sucking at the holes to see what was inside .....

Snufflelump enjoys a ride on a super gigantic snail - he thought it was a tad slow though.

He is very impressed with this Knight and is considering getting some armor made for himself.

Lastly, here he is enjoying the lovely flowers in the room.

He really enjoyed his adventure in the Cotswolds and can't wat for the next one!

New Pattern! The Droplet!

The Droplet is a very special creature that has a very happy nature and is nearly
always smiling.

It starts life as a very small round drop on the underside of large plant leaves.
As it grows rounder and larger a stalk forms at the top between where it is attached to
the leaf and its main body. This stalk is stretched as the Droplet gains weight. When the Droplet reaches maturity (between 4-6 months) it detaches from the leaf and drops to the ground. Its two large flat feet are designed to absorb the shock of the drop.

The Droplet is now ready to explore its new World! It loves to see new sights and meet new creatures. Its sunny, happy nature ensures it rarely comes to any harm as everything it meets is so charmed by it!

Here it is with the gang!

The Droplet is now available to buy in my Etsy store or on Craftsy!
